Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Performance Test Engineer to support performance validation for a Core Banking Transformation program involving Temenos upgrade from R18 to R25. The role focuses on ensuring system scalability, stability, and response benchmarks across core modules, interfaces, and batch processes.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute performance test strategy for Temenos Core Banking (T24/Transact) applications.
Develop and maintain performance test scripts for APIs, online transactions, and batch jobs.
Conduct Load, Stress, Volume, Endurance, and Spike testing.
Validate system performance across SIT, Pre-Prod, and Release environments.
Monitor application, middleware, and database performance metrics.
Identify bottlenecks (application, DB, infrastructure) and provide tuning recommendations.
Collaborate with Infrastructure, DBA, and Application teams for performance optimization.
Prepare performance test reports including SLA validation and capacity planning inputs.
Support production readiness and post-deployment performance monitoring.

Required Skills & Competencies
Strong hands-on experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, or equivalent).
Experience in performance testing of Core Banking or high-volume financial systems.
Good understanding of Temenos architecture (T24/Transact) preferred.
Strong knowledge of API, batch, and integration performance validation.
Experience in monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Dynatrace, OEM, or similar).
Strong SQL and database performance analysis skills.
Understanding of middleware, Unix/Linux environments, and web/application servers.
Preferred Experience
Experience in large-scale Core Banking upgrade programs (R18–R25 preferred).
Exposure to capacity planning and performance engineering practices.
Knowledge of high-availability and distributed system architectures.
