As a software engineer, you will work on multiple projects critical to LizAI's needs, with our fast-paced business growing and evolving. Our engineers need to be versatile and enthusiastic about tackling new problems across the full-stack as we continue pushing technology forward.
You will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
Experience with Python or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., C#, Java).
Design, code, and test new features, making marked contributions to the application and process, emphasizing performant, decoupled, testable, and maintainable code.
Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve them by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
Lead and mentor new hires or junior engineers
Report the data to the team.
Comply with the data storage policies of LizAI.
Possible international business travels.

2 years of experience with machine learning algorithms and tools (e.g., large language model), artificial intelligence, deep learning, and/or natural language processing.
Ability to work with a diverse, global community-based in many different locations and time zones.
Demonstrate excellent teamwork and leadership skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting timelines and adapting to changing priorities
Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in an academic or industry setting.
Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit Learn, or Keras.
Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and conversational AI.
Experience in building up end-to-end Machine Learning pipelines.
Good command of English communication.
