Project Overview
You will join the global Sales Force Automation (SFA) program Japanese Client, supporting the rollout of a retail execution solution across multiple markets.
The solution has already been implemented in Singapore, Thailand, and India, is currently being deployed in Japan, and is planned for rollout in South Korea as part of the client's global digital transformation initiative.
As this is a global strategic program, there is a strong likelihood of continued enhancement and regional expansion after the initial implementation.

Responsibilities
- Act as the Functional Lead / Business Analyst for the Japan implementation.
- Work directly with Japanese business stakeholders to gather, analyze and clarify business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for the global delivery team.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement discussions, and solution validation sessions.
- Collaborate with international project members working primarily in English.
- Proactively propose practical business solutions, including non-system alternatives (Excel, Power BI, process improvements, etc.) when appropriate.
- Support end-to-end project delivery including:
Functional design: Requirement clarification, UAT preparation and support, Functional testing, User training, Change requests and feature enhancements, Coordinate between business users, technical teams and project management to ensure successful delivery.

Required Qualifications
Language
- Fluent Japanese (Business level or above – mandatory - min N3)
- Professional English communication (mandatory)

Experience
- 5+ years as Business Analyst / Functional Consultant / Functional Lead.
- Hands-on experience with Sales Force Automation (SFA) or Retail Execution solutions.
- Strong experience working directly with business stakeholders.
- Excellent requirement elicitation and functional analysis skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with multicultural and global teams.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in FMCG, Consumer Goods, Beverage or Retail industries.
- Experience supporting UAT and production rollout.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Ability to recommend business solutions beyond system limitations.
- Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI or Excel.
- Experience working in global or regional transformation programs.

Nice to Have
- Experience with retail execution processes: Store Visit, Merchandising, Promotion Execution, Order Taking, Field Sales, Sales Performance Reporting
- Experience with IV Mobility or similar SFA platforms (not mandatory).
- Experience leading cross-country implementation projects.
